I cannot believe this but I am declaring Norton Security, (purchase with 30 day free trial) a scam. I am experiencing full screen ad popups and browser redirects while using the Norton "safe/private browser and even when I open the app. The scans are not detecting or removing the malicious adware or malware. In addition, when I went to the Norton Support site, the site logs me in with a "Hello Melissa, how can we assist you?" and then below that is a red alert box advising that I do not have an active subscription. This is fraudulent advertising. Obviously the 30 day free trial version purchase does not clean nor protect a device.
