I can only comment on customer service because I have not used the free trial. Tho it expired they gave me an extension without asking. Just super in my book! Hopefully I will get to try it out in the next couple of days! Thanks again.
The customer service representative helping me was great. Morgan took his time, was very kind, patient and stood by while providing with the steps involved to solve my issues. It took a long time for the issues to be resolved, but that wasn’t on the CSR’s end. Just a heck of a long time trying to verify to regain access to my account under a new email address.
Overall I enjoy having my website hosted through Squarespace, however, there are many functions that seem to be a strong pull for e-commerce businesses like mine to operate on Shopify. I am looking at potentially starting another business and I think Squarespace would be a better fit for that because it is more of a service-based business. I will say that the capability to customize forms such as the subscribe form has been a huge issue for me because it is not easy for these to be GDPR compliant. I am grateful for Squarespace, although there are definitely things I wished were available or easier to use as a non-web designer or computer programer.
A little painful with the ID Requirements...but after that, good quality communications from them and resolved issue. They're correspondence via email was professional and meaningful.
The support was great but the process cumbersome.
