First time using Just Eat and very disappointed. My order (860534051) arrived cold — the burger was cold and the chips were soggy and cold. The food quality was clearly unacceptable. I reported the issue through the app, but the complaint system is very poor. It only allowed me to select options without properly explaining the problem, and there was no way to add details or communicate directly. The complaint was then rejected without a proper review, which is extremely frustrating. Very poor first experience. I expected better service, better food quality, and a fair way to resolve issues
I ordered a strictly vegan meal and was delivered fish. Fish makes me extremely unwell. Serving an animal product to a customer who explicitly ordered vegan is a severe food safety violation, but Just Eat’s response was completely dismissive. I was repeatedly sent automated template emails stating "in line with the information provided... I can see that the initial decision was correct and I’m unable to change the outcome for this order issue". After fighting to speak with a human, a supervisor finally agreed to a refund, but only for the item itself—insisting I still pay the service fee for a botched, order that I specified made me unwell from the smell of raw fish - causing me to be sick a few days after surgery on my throat! It has now been 7 days and the money is nowhere to be seen. I contacted my bank, and they confirmed that Just Eat has not initiated or processed any refund whatsoever. Despite this, Just Eat customer support is now boldly claiming the issue is "resolved on their end" and refusing to help further. They took my money, delivered the wrong food, lied about issuing a refund, and have now closed the case. This is hands down the most unprofessional, rude, and fraudulent "customer service" I have ever experienced. Consumers - avoid this company at all costs—they will take your money and run the second an issue arises. Companies - do not use this company as you will lose customers based on a third parties absolutely shocking "customer service".
Just eat have removed the customer review submissions leaving customers without an informed decision on restaurants performance and quality ratings, this is in my opinion is massive flaw in the system it is opening up huge problems in customer satisfaction and loyalties.
Toral rip off. Won't refund an order with all the wrong items even when photos provided. DO NOT USE!!!!!
I just received an order with missing items, they "credited my just eat account" but would not refund my payment method effectively forcing me to order from them in the future if i want to be compensated, this doesn't seem like good practice to me. Avoid just eat.
Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered a meal using a voucher code meaning once it was redeemed, we couldn't use it again. We received our order, or should I say someone else's order, which was just about enough to feed a sparrow compared to our meal. We tried ever so hard to speak to someone within customer service and we did finally after 2 hours of stress, we spoke to someone called ''Jyothi' who just by the name sounds very reliable for customer service and advice. We spoke to him and told him our issue, we was stuck with 6 chicken nuggets and a Robinson's meal instead of our 2 full adult meals at half price, to be told we can be refunded and re-order. When telling them about the voucher and how it can't be redeemed again, they just left the chat like it wasn't their problem. Jyothi was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. So here we are, reordering from Uber Eats instead because they are a little more reliable compared to the 1.2 out of 5 rated Just eat. No wonder this world relies on robots these days. While typing this, we received an update..a very sympathetic email from 'Dennisa John's most likely another made up username, expressing their deepest regrets, and that they hope next time we have the best possible service in the industry. I'm sorry Dennisa, but that doesn't quite fix our hunger. Such a joke, I rest my case.
Spent £93 on a delivery via Just Eat. Half our order was missing. Contacted the restaurant who apologised and instructed I go via the Just Eat app to obtain a refund that the restaurant would authorise. Just Eat have declined my claim on 3 occasions, with no explanation. They are possible, the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am not surprised at all, that they only have a 1 star review, which, in my opinion, they do not even deserve. So unhelpful and rude in their replies. Steer well clear. I will never use just eat again and I certainly would never recommend them.
I ordered a can of diet coke which never arrived. I made a complaint to just eat, who told me to provide photographic evidence before they would give me compensation. How can I photograph a can of coke that didn't arrive? It beggars belief.

Ordered food that never arrived, contacted driver who said he had dropped it of when he had not, he took my food (theft). I contacted customer service and they refused to give me a refund.i told them that it was there obligation to supply me food I had paid for. Still no refund. I checked CCTV to find the driver made no attempt to deliver my order. What a joke of a company.
They give u a delivery time of 20 mins and a hour and half later it turns up and now iam going to be late for work if anyone uses just eat make sure u have eles to do as u will be waiting over a hour
I’m very very angry and disappointed about my AWFUL experience !! MY ORDER NEVER ARRIVED ! I made an order at 11:59pm yesterday, the estimated delivery time was 00:25-00:45. The status of my food STAYED on “ Thanks for your order We've received your order and we're on it.” It NEVER ever changed from that ! …so I called the restaurant at 00:47 because my food still hadn’t come or the status changed, they said they couldn’t help and maybe Just eat had no drivers !? What!?!? I sent multiple 3/4/5 messages to the just eat team via this app having to explain EVERY SINGLE TIME and I’m still being asked by them if my order arrived !?!? NO MY ORDER NEVER ARRIVED!! You can see in the app no!!! ?? It got to around 01:30 and still I had received nothing. BUT when I woke up the next morning it said my food was delivered at 00:30 ? No!! Lucky I SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING !! My food was NOT delivered and I’m yet to receive any acknowledgment refund OR FOOD!! I will NEVER use just eat again! 1. Their drivers are unprofessional and are always talking very loud/shouting on a phone call to someone else when they arrive and don’t even break that conversation to say anything other than “what’s number “ rudely. Their customer service from rider to email is is so bad it might as well not exist !!! Deliveroo ALL DAY after this refund attempt I will delete the app 100000000 percent
staff have really bad attitudes and attempt to con you. avoid these at all costs
Order never delivered – two contradicting stories – refused refund I ordered food through Just Eat (order 860120991). The food never arrived. When I called the restaurant, the staff admitted they left the food on the street. Just Eat then told me the food was returned to the restaurant – a completely different story. Despite clear evidence that the food was never delivered, Just Eat refused to issue a refund and called it their “final decision.” This is unacceptable. I paid for a service I never received and was given contradicting information by both the restaurant and Just Eat. Avoid using Just Eat if you expect accountability when things go wrong.
