Tried to call with one simple quick question, can't get anyone on the phone.
After opening a Level Up Savings account and linking one of my banks, I transferred a significant amount of money to the account. Everything seemed fine for a few weeks until linking a few more accounts and trying to transfer a more funds into the account. Then my account was locked. It's been two weeks since I've provided Lending Club with the requested documentation to verify ownership of the linked accounts. Every time I call, their reps say they've escalated the issue to unlock the account and to check my email for a notification to that effect. Thank goodness the second transfer didnt go through! However, now I have no access to the initial funds. I am elderly and cannot afford to lose a dime of my hard earned funds in our current economy. Be warned...do not open an account with Lending Club!
You had a $1200 hidden origination fee that was not clear with the final break down of the loan. Lossing that $1200 screwed me on the money I needed to consolidate debt. Your CSR team wasn't willing to help and just gave me your scripted answers. I feel I was taken advantage of and I will never recommend your company to anyone and I will do everything in my power to make sure your deceptive practices are exposed so others don't get screwed over like I did.
